This week, we all take some much-needed time to reflect on the brave actions and selfless dedication our military men and women have provided. Below, we have listed five campgrounds across the country which offer discounts for veterans.
Cobb Mountain
Our first campground is located in beautiful California placed on Cobb Mountain. The site includes plenty of camping cabins, RV sites and tent areas. The site offers a 15% discount to all active members and veterans of the military. Open year round, you can enjoy some of the area’s natural wonders, such as the Old Faithful Geyser and natural hot springs. Of course, you’ll also be to enjoy plenty of on-site activities, such as a year-round trout creek, gem mining and much more.
Estes Park
Offering 15% off to all veterans and active members, Estes Park is located in the heart of Colorado. Open from May 10 to September 29, the lush area features plenty of cabin rentals, tent sites and RV camping areas. Within 30 minutes of the sites are more fun activities to try, such as biking trails, horseback riding and a water park.
Wisconsin Dells
Known as the water park capital of the world, this fun site is one of a kind! They generously offer 20% off both campsites and rentals for all veterans and active military personnel. With activities ranging from biking trails, ceramics and everything in between, you are guaranteed a fun vacation!
Gloucester Point
Known as a popular destination for boating fans, Gloucester Point is located along the York River. The site offers 15% off campsites and cottages for active military members. The beautiful area offers both planned activities and plenty of other options on and off the water.
Scottsburg
Our last site offers a generous 15% off their amenities to both veterans and active personnel with a valid ID. Hosting cabin rentals, RV camping, trailer rentals and more, this Indiana spot is not to be missed! In addition, the site offers plenty of fun activities, such as mini-golf and fishing. Don’t pass this one up!
