Customer of the Month: Mike Ertz – Little Guy T@G

LG: How long have you owned your T@G?

ME: I bought my T@G in the fall of 2014 in Kirksville, MO.

LG: What is your favorite Campsite (Name, City, ST) you have visited so far since owning your T@G?

ME: My favorite bar far is my recent trip to So Marine Park Campground in Rocky Mountain National Park, CO.

LG: What was it about the T@G that brought you to purchasing the unit?

ME: Mainly the tow ability. Since I drive the Mini Cooper, I wanted something with lots of nice features yet around the 1,000-pound dry weight range. The T@B gave me that and so much more. After a couple trips out I have been very impressed with how nice the T@G tows behind my Mini Cooper. Fully loaded with camping gear, I have no issues towing through the mountains.

LG: Do you have any short stories you can share with us since purchasing your T@G?

ME: It is amazing that everywhere I go, I get all kinds of looks and requests for tours. I recently camped for a week in Oshkosh Wisconsin for annual trip to the ‘Air Adventure’. It’s a weeklong airshow which has a camp ground at the airport. During the week over 25,000 campers will attend the event. Throughout the event I was giving more tours of my unit than the time I spent watching the airshow.

LG: What special travel items or storage modifications have you created to ensure you have everything you need on the road?

ME: When I travel the T@G doubles as my storage for all my camping gear. I distribute the weight inside the T@G so I have no issues with towing. I have the 10 x10 Tent and I use the ZAMP 120 Watt Solar panel to keep my batteries charged. For backup I have a Honda 2000-watt generator. All which make it easy to use all the necessary comforts of the T@G. I never have to worry about buying ice with the Norcold Refrigerator.

LG: What future camping areas do you have on your “bucket list” to visit?

ME: I want to spend more time in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. Additionally, I want to head farther west to Yellowstone, Teton and Glacier National Parks. In the colder months I plan to head south towards Florida and the Southeastern US.
